Jenson Button's father 'forgot where he parked Ferrari

Former Formula One success Jenson Button's father sparked a Ferrari theft warn on the Italian Riviera, only to realise that he got forgotten where he parked it.

John Button experienced reported the 550 Maranello stolen after revealing to police that he left it outside his motel in the town associated with Alassio.

About 24 time later, police called to mention that the 150,thousand pound car had also been found in a neighbouring town, Laigueglia.

John ultimately admitted that he received confused Alassio with Laigueglia, that has an almost identical design and lies less than a mile along the coast.

"It's all a touch embarrassing, but the roads that lead into Alassio and Laigueglia usually are almost identical, even the particular railings look the identical, and they both have a very fork in them," your Daily Telegraph quoted Steve, as saying.

"Funnily plenty of it was not the losing of the car that angry me, it was prospect that I might have mislaid a camera with a number of amazing shots from a vacation to Kyoto. I know I will get a bit involving ribbing over the event," he added.

John has been staying at the five-star Grand Motel Mediterranee, where Jenson famous his 31st birthday on Wednesday. (ANI)
